Need someone in Halifax Nova Scotia!

Hey everyone,

Is there anyone in Halifax, Nova Scotia that could install a set of fog lights for me? I've called around a few places and they're all very hesitant to say yes. I'm definitely not a mechanic or an electrician...I got the panels put in... but they're currently empty... It's very sad. If anyone could help out, that would be fantastic!

Okay, so I should be alright. I went to Canadian Tire and picked up a nice socket/ratchet set. Took my bumper off and installed the lights myself. Who knew I could be a mechanic Just waiting to get parts from Cali Yaris (wire and relay) and got some help from 1NZYaris1 and now it should be a cinch to get them working properly. Thanks Ray and Garm!

Holy crap it took me like 10 minutes to get the courage to take the negative clip off the battery... got a really nice jolt when I was little so I have a bit of fear when it comes to electricity Not to mention my over-active static discharge abilities. I was paranoid

Here's the final product. Got my parts from Garm and got them all installed yesterday. Had to wait until today to adjust them. The right one was pointing higher than my high beams! I lol'd at that when I first turned them on. Here are a couple shots of the final product

congrats on doing it yourself! Ray's OEM kit really makes for a nice install - we now include it with all of our foglight kits.

Figuring out that I'm not afraid to do things like this is probably not a good thing.... I feel bad for my wallet in the coming years

I love taking things apart and modifying stuff to work so I actually enjoyed having to do that with my set

Anyone know what ground I can attach the black ground to (in the headlights/signal plug) to make the fogs only work when the headlights are switched on? Currently mine can turn on at any point, even when the car is off with the lights off because it's grounded to the body with constant power coming from pin 3. I don't want to guess and end up blowing a fuse or something... that scares me

I made a post about it in the DIY section but no one has answered yet.
