Headlight choice

Hi,

I have been thinking about changing mystock h4 and h11 fog to blue lights like the expensive lexus or mercedes. Does anyone know what color they are. I have heard that 600k is a diamond white and the 8000K is a blue light. Has anyone used either of these and would you comment on them. Also who has used eurodezigns and do you like them?

You want to change headlight bulbs right? If so, go with around 4100k to 5000k....that will give you bright white color with a hue of blue mixed in it....anything above 7200k or so is just purple color hue...

Or...do you want HIDs....?

FYI, i used 4900k RayBrig H4 bulbs on my car....one went out after 2 years (pretty good lasting), and now no one carries those anymore :(

I disagree. 6000k is pure white, 8000k is just a little blue, 10,000k is where you start to get into the purples. I have HID kits and bulbs for all of those numbers so I've seen them one right after another.

My RayBrig box says 4900k (Raybrig White Sonic S H4 bulbs) , the lights had a small hue of blue in them (no joke), but slight...mostly they were white colored on the road at night...

I'm not doubting you Garm, just stating what I saw lol... With the lights off, the lens reflects a small blue~ish color but thats because of the clear blue coat on the bulbs themselves...I could be wrong with the whole 7200/8000k being purple....my friend had Nokya or Luminics and they were purplish color...
