few performance mod questions! plz help! - Toyota Yaris Forums

hi guys i am new here. i just wanted to ask a few questions hope you can help out.

first question...

is there a real racing chip for the yaris? not those ebay ones but a legit one like from superchips or something like that. i did find this item but i am not sure about it.

what do you guys think about it?

second question...

i have headers and a cat back exhaust. but my mid pipe is stock. where i am there are no real regulations needing cats or anything like that. i want to get more HP. do you think it is a good idea to remove the cat and replace with a pipe but i would want to leave the mufler in the mid pipe alone. i just want to remove my cat.

did and didn't find it, would appreciate the link if you wouldn't mind. So how do you change your shift points in an AT and remove the governer?

Do you have the Toyota Techstream software? If so, do you have the access password(s) to go with it? I've been speaking with a company in China that makes a clone of the Techstream system for about $1400, but according to them, even with the software and hardware, you need a "factory passcode" to be able to make adjustments.
