Please. I got a quote, getting ready to act on it, but curious to see what other people have and how it looks, so please post shots of your window tint. Thanks.

P.S. - Anybody in the midatlantic, PM me for the name of a shop in Newport News that charges $135 for anything legal on a hatch, plus $20 for offroad tint.

Probably means illegal tint, such as the front side windows. Either that, or darker than the legal limit.

I have 40% (legal in Puerto Rico) on windshield and backwindow
and I had 5% on sides but cops stopped me a bit too much so I removed them and went with 20% (still ilegal but they dont stop me)

son of a bitch, that looks hot! I wish we could tint front windshields here like in your country.....thats the ONLY window that needs tint on my car to match the 20% and 5% all around~~

i believe it is 10%... Done on 6 inches of the windshield, the 2 rear side windows, and the rear hatch.

You're allowed to do that here in California, but its a no no according to my coworker's cop friend. It gives away that you have dark tints all around and more chance of getting pulled over lol... I'm illegal on front driver/passenger windows 20% ;)

Yup, I believe in CA, it's no tint for the front windshield except for the top 4 inches, 70% on the front sides, and no limit on the rear sides and rear window. Color must be black/smoke and no mirror tints.

mine looks just like everybody else's here.... was 35%... cost me $155.... the shop said $40 for the 6" visor strip.... glad I refused... cause 3 days later I got a rock chip on the very bottom of my windshield (couldn't see it) and it spidered out a few days later.... winshield replaced a week later.

I have 20% on sides and back and 35% on front windshield it didnt cost me jack because I did it my self but the most they can charge u is about $150.
I wouldnt pay more than that. but thats just me.

No, they are not, but I am going to get the lightest tint, just to reduce UV. In CA it's illegal to tint the front windows and the windshield, but the lightest tint is not noticeable, it's like a transparent film and although it doesn't look tinted, it does help keeping your car cooler.

The rims are 16"x7" ICW Racing Adrenaline Black, with Kumho 195/50R16 tires. I didn't want to go with the 17" rims because it would have forced me to get a very low profile tire and I don't want to have to worry every time I drive over a pothole or something like that. Besides, the 16" are lighter and allow me to get tires that last a little longer, so in the end, it's a win-win.

I wonder if they come in 15"...

If I go with the rims, I wanna keep the rubber I have now since it's only a lil over 2 weeks old... I'll hafta look into that... Thanks for the info!

It looks like they do. I got mine through Big-O-Tires, check out their online tool, you can see how they would look on your car

In Michigan you can get a doctors note that you give the Secretary of State Office to allow you to tint the entire wind shield. Check your local laws, then go squint for your doctor to see if they will give you a note.

In California tint on the front passenger and driver's side window is illegal regardless if how dark it is
