Yaris Owners, I need your help!
This is my first post here, so I wanna start off by saying Hey...HEY.
Name is justin, and i own a 07 civic. I do not own a yaris but I joined here because my gf has one and I wanna get her something for her car for X-MAS. She is already getting springs, and i dont know what else to get her and i dont know where to get parts from. She has a 2008 yaris, but i have no idea if these cars have different engines like the civics do so i dont wanna order a part for the wrong kinda car ya know. What im really looking for are ideas on what to get for her car, and where i can get them... Thank you guys in advance! |

A rear sway bar seems to be the most recommended modification. MicroImage has two diameters.

liftback or sedan? Wheels always go nice with drop springs.

She's just his girlfriend.....new wheels only come after marriage!
![]() All U.S. Yaris' have the same engine, so if you get anything engine related, it'll fit. I will second the rear sway bar......since it has springs already, the sway bar would be a great companion. Well worth the $150 or so and you could even install it without her knowing about it.....see if she notices anything. |

Nice Yaris.....it'll look great once those springs are installed!
Are you guys upgrading the shocks too? If not then I would suggest waiting on the sway bar and getting some good shocks. Since you will be removing the struts anyway to install the springs it sort of makes sense to also swap the shocks at that time. Food for thought......the sway bar can be installed anytime. |

Here's the only mod we've found yet that actually pays for itself, if one uses it to help train themselves to drive more efficiently:

If she wants to save money on gas, I'll second the SGII. Plus, she can share that with you for your Civic as well
![]() I'll also agree with the rear sway bar, but you must teach her how to drive with it installed. It really changes the handling characteristics of the car. It will make it more prone to oversteering, so this might make it a little dangerous. Also, if she's not into spirited driving, this wouldn't really serve her much use. If that's the case, why not get her a new, better headunit? Music is always something that people like, and making it sound better would be appreciated by all. hehehe. |

SGII: http://shop.microimageonline.com/pro...&categoryId=13
AFE intake: http://shop.microimageonline.com/pro...4&categoryId=2 Rear sway bars (two options):http://shop.microimageonline.com/pro...0&categoryId=4 or http://shop.microimageonline.com/pro...5&categoryId=4 And another thing you can do is get her some eyelids. These make the car look more aggressive: http://shop.microimageonline.com/pro...7&categoryId=5 There's an official eyelids thread here if you would like to see them installed. http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...ghlight=eyelid |

Why don't you get her windows legally tinted. I think that would be more worthwhile than suspension modification.

![]() ![]() hehehe, reposted your pics. That's cool, abstract engine covers. Oh, and window tint, good idea too. hmmm, since you said that she's not much of a "spirited" driver, then I would go with, in no particular order either tint, SGII, or ICE. |
