Raccoon under my hood

Yep,
I went outside to start my car this morning (I live in a 3 story condominium) and when I started it the whole car shook. I turned off the engine and Melanie was walking outside to start her car and she was looking at me like WTF… She then pointed and there was a damn large raccoon standing by my wheel. I got out of my car to see if it was hurt ( like I could fix it?? ) and the raccoon just walked away unharmed. Melanie and I opened up the hood of my car and there was hair all over the top of the engine block but nothing was eaten or pulled out…
So when you start your car b e w a r e. . .

Just be glad it wasn't a porcupine. Those suckers will gnaw on your radiator hoses and brake likes.

One time my little brother was saying that there was a squirrel by my wheel.
I really didn't think anything of it. When I started backing out of the driveway I noticed that I had no brakes. Turns out the squirrel chewed through my brake line.

My ma had an animal chew through her new trucks wiring harness.

Just piss on your engine to keep the beasties away.

Are you trying a new boosting system? Granted, the Yaris only needs a small engine, but I think going the "Racoon powered" way is a little overboard.
Although a sticker saying "40MPG. Racoon Powered" would be sick :P

Great on the gas mileage, but you'd spend a fortune on fruits & nuts.
