Car Customization

I found this on MSN. I figured I'd share it with the crowd. I like customizing because it better fits my lifestyle.

Cars come the way they are from manufacturers because they know people will accessorize them and do what they want to it.

Why do you customize your ride?

I can definitly understand the addicting part. I'm afraid to start because I know I'm not going to be able to stop. Baby, just one more little thing then it'll be perfect. Baby, just one......

I like the car, but I'll enjoy the drive more if I (insert some mod here).

Thats the basis for what all my previous modding has been... although now I have MPG in the back of my mind, gotta remind myself thats why I bought this car.... not to put 500lbs of stereo/batteries in it, and the biggest rims I can stuff on there....

go small on the stereo, keep the wheels light and do the research on mods... u shouldn't worry much about the 40mpg..cause you can get near that with just about any modification as long as ur moderate on the gas. my cobalt can get 36mpg on the highway and my past focus with a built motor could get 33mpg, even with some 9000rpm sprints.

The DARTH YARIS is coming!

I have a unique personality and I feel my car should have a unique personality as well… I mod to be different…I am different because I mod!

I just hate things that are stock, I'm not going to be part of a flock... It started with computers, here are my masterpieces:

Had a bit of an industrial theme going

And now this quest for uniqueness and neverending coolness has extended to a much bigger and more expensive () hobby...

well you really can look at it is being different, there are millions of others that do it for the same reason... so how does it make you different? many will have the same suspension, the same wheels, intake, exhaust... modding costs $$$ and so does truely being different...remember, you will have many followers if the car looks good too.

build your car for what you want it to do, and it'll always come out better in the end.

Reminds me of an interesting saying: "I am unique, just like everyone else"

Sure, my car is different, but it's certainly not unique, anyone could get theirs done up the same with over the counter parts and a deep wallet

This is true... to be truly unique is tough! If you can do it, anyone can do it... but someone has to do it first!
