is the 1.5 able to spool a t3/t4 turbo

A T28 spools about 3500rpm on a 1NZFE so I think if you intend high revs a T4 will be above 4000rpm.
The main problem is more where to put a T4 turbo in a yaris engine bay! |

too big for the Yaris, unless you're going for huge power and very high powerband (like for drag racing only). There will be considerable lag with that turbo.

why not retrofit an eclipse turbo? they're cheap on ebay, like 50 bux rebuilt.

Stick with a T28 these are commonly enough for a 1NZ
|
