Shifter linkage bushing stuck!
Hey guys,
Trying to install the "easiest" DIY mod, the NST short shift kit but ran into a problem. The shifter bushing is stuck onto where it mounts on to the original spot. Can't get it off. The cotter pin, washer and linkage are off but the stupid bushing is anchored on there. I have blasted it with liquid wrench and am just waiting right now. It's on there GOOD. I've been prying at it with a screwdriver and applying quite a bit of force but it ain't budging. help!? |
