The gray ignition wire is fed 12 Volts by the 15A AM2 fuse, located in the under hood fuse panel.

There are 3 spare fuses in the fuse box that you can use . I blew the dome light fuse and mistakenly took out the ignition fuse thinking its the spare.

Ignition fuse is on the upper panel of the fuse box. There should be 3 fuses there, ignition being the middle one thats blue .

I completely freaked when I changed the OEM radio and then my car wouldn't start

Did you bypass by jumping 12 Volts to the ignition switch connector?

If that's the case, then the issue is most likely the IG2 relay, which is part of the "Integration Relay", which the is chunk where the AM2 fuse plugs into.

I found it and I took it out! Should I change it? Is there a way to test it?

I have a spare that I grabbed from a junkyard car. If you look at the picture below, I have a wire on pin 2 (pink) and on pin 3 (white). If I apply 12 volts across those two pins (2+, 3-), I hear the relay clink loudly. At the same time, if I measure continuity between 1 and 4 (the larger pins on either side of 2 and 3), I see continuity when I apply power to 2 and3.

The integration relay is expensive (dealer list is $121), so you want to be sure that it is really bad.

Check the AM1 fuse as well, which is a 25A fuse in the under dash fuse panel.

Also, the only thing between the DOME fuse and the battery is the 60A MAIN fusible link that is attached to the plastic block on the + battery terminal. It would be worth taking a peek at it.

So, at this point, what works and what doesn't?
