New Headlights soon! :D

http://articles.dashzracing.com/06-0...or-headlights/

basically the bottom black set, these...

is what I wanna get but theyre saying their non HID compattible. Is this the case? Ive seen some of your guys yaris and it looks like the answer is no and they should be good for HIDs just wanna be sure before I spend 200+ plus dollars :P

As far as I know, there are NOT any aftermarket headlights available for '09+ yari. What you find for '06-'08 will not fit (properly).

Food for thought.... Possible weekend project since the headlights won't fit on 09+

Yeah, that's my big problem.

I want to get some projector headlights like those, but they don't fit my 09.
I would do a retrofit but I need to get some spare headlights since i've never done one before...and I don't want to mess up my only set of headlights.

You could always get a 08 or older bumper, then your lights will fit.

They should be.
I've read that when you get HID's it's best to use projector headlights, as headlights with reflectors will end up bouncing the light everywhere.

Just make sure you get the right size.

You know...i'm not really sure.
I know there is a bulb guide, but it's only for LED replacement bulbs, not for HID's.

I would ask someone here that has HID's.

For HID's you'll want to get the H4 Kit

These look the same as the ones you can find on ebay. I've wanted to know how they worked out for people.

Not sure what you are paying for them but this site lists the exact same model, with and with out HID.
I have no idea what HID kits are good or bad or what a good price is but hopefully a more knowledgeable member can answer that.

If you buy these lights, you'll need H1 bulbs.

ive been running HID's in my projectors for well over a year without issue

and the bulbs in mine are h1's (the wiring on the headlight splits the h4/9003 into two h1's)
