mustache and mascara

finally redid my headights. i have not baked them back togeher yet and need advice on whether to put LED lights inside housing or not and where.

I also grew my car a mustache. I did it myself, so its far from perfect, however i did impress myself. I will now name my car Mr. Mustache...and may eve make a new account under that name.

IMO, the GTI treatment looks better if it drops down from the bottom corners of the upper grill, runs parallel to the vertical bumper crease, then flairs out a bit at the bottom to meet the lower grill.

Looking forward to seeing the completed headlights.

Looks more like a goatee! If it were a mustache, wouldn't it be on the top of the "mouth?!?"

Cheers! M2

yeah i couldn't quite figure it out, but i may redo it on another off day. have an example picture? i could tell something was a little off.

goatee yeah, but Mr. Goatee sounds more like a child molester, whereas Mr. Mustache or even Sir Mustache is ok.

did headlights, they look good, but they WILL have condensation. that glue sucked to work with. absolutely terrible. i should have bought extra sealant.

oh, and i changed my shifter after seeing the awesomeness in the "stickerbombing" thread. i turned my boot upside down so its almost flat, then i put black vinyl on the shaft. now i just need a derlin or similar shift knob. something round.\\

yeah, i loved the look much better without a boot going all the way up, so i just turned it inside out and upside down and it worked decently. what i would really like is a piece of black plastic to cover the shift opening with only a small circle in the middle to allow the shifter to move.

thanks again for the idea.

I've been trying to find a sheet of the super durable rubber stuff those kids toys are made out of, i think that would look good :)

http://us.123rf.com/400wm/400/400/rg...background.jpg that stuff is hard to find! lol

plastic would be cool! If you do it you gotta post it up, that's an awesome idea
