Megan Coilover Install and Tips

Hey all,
hopefully this will be beneficial to those out there wanting to install these coilovers. The directions from Megan are a joke..Please note I take no responsibility for this install and don't claim to be a professional.. This is not a step by step diy, just simply showing you how the megans are assembled.

#1- This is the most useful tool in my box, it's a craftsman offset box wrench, 17mm on one side and 19 on the other..This will save you alot of time on having to remove the windshield wiper assembly, simply bypass all the drama..

#2- I got these from ebay, they support the car without messing up the pinch welds, was sick of using hockey pucks, worth every penny.

#3-There are already plenty of other useful threads on how to take the struts out, I am assuming you have already done this..The following photos show how to assemble the megans..I found that the strut bearing does not fit in the megan supplied red piece, so I just put over it, I ended up using ALL of the OEM pieces..

#4- When you reinstall the front on any mcpherson car you MUST LOAD THE SUSPENSION before you tighten the bolts. You can see that before tightenting the 19mm bolts the suspension is loaded

Thanks! Weird, I'd thought the bottom would be the better one since it looks more robust.

The size difference creates the camber I believe because it angles the spindle.

I had no idea Toyota made camber bolts. I have ingalls.
