Blackerist Paint

Does anyone know if you can buy OEM paint directly from your local Toyota dealer? And yes..............I have a pretty good size scratch on my car I need to fix ASAP. Or, does anyone know if duplicolour comes in Black Sand Pearl?

As far as I know you can't buy bulk paint direct from Toyota. I tried and they told me to buzz off.

I don't need bulk. I need like the duplicolor touch up paint. But I want Black Sand Pearl. I'm pretty sure duplicolor doesn't make it.

i have a buddy that works at a local orielly's and he can mix up anycolor u can think of. they have a color scanning gun that scans a couple places on your car then tells him how to mix it to match perfectly.

You said "pretty good size scratch." I assumed you would need a can of paint to bring to a body shop. If that isn't the case, yes, Toyota sells touch up pens color matched to our cars. They're relatively inexpensive.

Also, I wouldn't trust Paintscratch ever again. You may remember way back when I first got my car I knocked my mirror off and laid a nice, gaping scratch down the passenger side of my car. Well, I went to Toyota hoping to get meteorite metallic paint for my car in bulk. They told me they could only get the pens. At that point I went with paintscratch.com. They charged me $160 for a kit that contained, among other things, this paint that was so far from my stock color it was laughable. I can understand a slight difference in hue, but jesus. This was like they mixed my meteorite paint and dumped an extra cup of green in there. It wasn't even remotely close. Sure, they offer this program of sending it back and forth with color swatches until they get it right, but I wasn't about to sit around while my brand new car looked like crap waiting for PS.com to get things right. THEY DO NOT OFFER A MONEY BACK GARAUNTEE. You HAVE to keep sending it back until they fix the problem. You will never see a refund from them. If they were close to right, I would have kept doing business with them. Instead I actually ate the $160 and vowed never to deal with that fucking company again.

Call me crazy, but I have no patience for companies that can't even get in the ballpark of correct. Fifteen thumbs down for paintscratch.com.

Hey Paintscratch... I'll delete this post for 1.2 million dollars.

"Today's final Jeaporady question: Write a number. Any number will do... now, let's see what Sean Connery wrote.

V. The roman numeral for 5. I hate to say it, but you're correct! Let's see what he wagered..."

I love that one.
