my day at work (pics)

where'd it go? :shrug:

oh here it is

the change over

this is how i left it, waiting on some coolent passage gaskets under the intake manifold before i stuff it back in

it's the first titan motor we've replaced at my shop and it's only because the guy complained enough about it burning oil and nissan finally gave.
of course it's a 4 door 4x4 off road model so it's got all the goodies (front diff, skid plates) that needed to be moved before the motor could come out and i got to be the guinea pig

Nice pics, initially I thought that engine was going into a Yaris, I was like O_O!. lol

What a pain in the ass job man. You definitely have more patience than I do when it comes to that kind of stuff. Probably why I'm not a mechanic....

haha i should take the old motor and rering it and put it in the yaris. too bad nissan wants it back

What would happen if a few parts happened to go "missing" off the old motor??
