Anyone know 120V motors? (capacitor question)
Hey guys, wondering if anyone would be able to help me.... maybe our resident electrical engineer? ;)
My dishwasher has stopped pumping. It's either the pump motor, or capacitor. The motor does not turn at all, even with no load on the pump. I would guess it should at least try to turn? Or do these motors need that initial spike to get things moving at all? It does buzz a bit. I know I've replaced capacitors on other stuff, but can't remember if they turned or not. Motor is 120V, 45W, 0.9A Capacitor is this (or very close): http://www.amazon.com/Amico-CBB65A-2...eywords=cbb65d Thanks for any help. Cory PS: (pump assy w/ capacitor is only around $60 so not a big deal either way) |
