Short Ram Intake vs K&N Drop-in

Hello guys, I'm looking for an intake for my NZT240 Premio, same motor and drive components as the Corolla/Yaris (1NZ-FE) in a bigger sedan body.

I jumped the plug and ordered a K&N Drop-in filter for the stock factory airbox, but I'm now having second thoughts on whether to install a short-ram intake.

I'm attaching a photo of my plans below. Now my question is, will it provide significant gains over a drop-in filter I already ordered to sell it off and get a mushroom filter and attach it right before the factory snorkel?

These are the mods that will go in the car to support it.
-Lightweight Crank Pulley
-Full 2" Downpipe from manifold
-Magnaflow Catalytic Converter
-Magnaflow Chambered endbox
-1ZZ Throttle Body Swap

The car is running a 4 Speed Automatic Transmission btw (Not CVT).

Thanks in advance!
Rakin.
