Re: Does the 2012/4 SE ride better than the 2008 RS
I bought a 2008 RS (5spd) back in March as a second vehicle and sold it after 5 months. I have regret it ever since and I am debating to get a 2014 Yaris SE 5 spd. Anyone who has experience on both can share your thought on how they compare? I assume they drive similar since the power train is the same from both generations. Might also consider the prius as well.

the 08 RS has the 2zr engine or whatnot, while the newer models only come with the 1nzfe.....it will be less powerfull. if you don't mind that, it's a damn good car. I like mine :p

Actually the Canadian 2008 RS is just trim and body kit differences. The engine is still the same 1NZ-FE as all US/Canada Yaris have had.

Thanks Scott for clearing it up. Still can't believe I sold it after installing the cruise control I got from you. It is so hard to find a used RS model and I am so tempted to go get a new one.
