Bio-Remediation

Anybody else ever here of this? We're trying out a new system at work, intended to replace out varsal baths. This stuff is basically micro-organisms that feed on oil and grease and has a pleasant apple smell :) . We cant use it on aircraft parts yet because it hasnt been approved for use yet, but using it on scrap parts and greasy automotive parts I find it works quite well, leaves an anti-corosive film as well. What are other peoples experience with bio-remediation systems?
