MI Forum

I know it's been really slow on the MI forum, but it seems to have completely disappeared off the net. Anyone know what happened to it?

MI Forum

I first noticed on Feb 18 that the forum had shut down. It was then displaying a thank you for your patronage page but it was no longer in service.

I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner. Garm had eluded to its demise ages ago as it wasn't driving business to the store and was just a drain to his bottom line.

Dunno man.. MI is closing? They have been liquidating their stock and the Prius is for sale..

or maybe they are just closing the forum. There is a lot of spam and nobody manages it.

According to the MI Facebook page:

I am winding down the company at this point; I will still stock parts that sell and the online store will remain open.

Still, it was a great resource. The manuals and TSB section have no doubt served many of us well.

Agreed. I'm glad that I have a local copy.

That said, I remember there being a lot of talk a year or so ago about the YW community being dead, while MI was thriving. Funny how things can change so quickly.
