2zr-fe swaps?
I'm going to be tackling this very soon. I'll start the buying process in a couple months but I'll be buying the motor soon(probably off an xd/corolla) I was wondering if anyone that has done this swap, and what all was needed if you have. I know the motor comes in the TS models, and from what it looks like, motor mounts look the same, and looks like it should be a tight squeeze.... how difficult is this swap? Any information helps.
It will be going in a 2008 lb. |

Check this thread out.
http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...=15242&page=11 If you have specific questions, message RagnaCat. He had a thread on the MicroImage forum on how to swap a 2zr. But that forum closed down. RagnaCat said he was going to get another build thread going here eventually so people can see what to do.

Thanks man. Glad to see you're still on here. Lol I got a job the pays pretty decent so now I'm able to afford modding the yaris again. And this is something I've wanted for a while. So this should be a fun project. I'll go ahead and PM him. |

From what I gathered, it is a very easy swap as long as you have a full donor car. I think the xD is the ideal one to get. There are a few mix and match parts that are needed from both vehicles.

I figured so. It seems like the easiest swap seeing that it comes in the car in other locations. I'm not trying to spend over 10k, so this should fit my budget lol

I will for sure. As soon as I can get my tires fixed on my truck and/or I get my corolla running it should be a go.
