hard turn makes a jolt

I have a 2015 Yaris Le with only 23000 miles. VIN does not have an recalls.

When I make a hard right or left turn sometimes it feels like the inside wheel makes a jolt or slip during the turn. This only happens when I am backing into a spot or turning into a spot, so at low speeds and in parking lots.
I am not sure this is something to do with the electronic steering or what as this is my first car with electronic assisted steering.
I am just hoping its not a suspension or wheel issue.

Based on what you are describing, I have the same/similar feeling in my '06. Happens in that final few degrees between near full and full turn of the wheel. I'd say it's normal.

Not sure if this is the same as i get, but here goes...

In a car park (while moving slowly), just before reaching full lock, the steering on my Yaris changes from wanting return to straight ahead to pulling to full lock.

This may be unique to Australian Delivery Yarii, as Toyota claim the local delivery version has a "tuned to Australian conditions" suspension setup. For most cars, this means different springs, dampers and possibly camber, caster and toe settings.

It could just be the steering geometry...

I would describe the behavior of my 2104 the same way.
