Question Cruise Control Lag

Do you guys feel a 3 second lag on the Rostra cruise control when activating it and also a slight RPM increase when pressing the brake to deactivate?

I don't have cruise but I notice the drive by wire sys has a delay... and when I clutch between shifts the RPMs up slightly. I think it's trying to smooth out the shifts and save the the drivetrain from sudden vibes JMHO

When I had the Rostra in my xB, I experienced this as well.

All cruise controls are different. After market parts do have their perks. I can see why you went with the Rostra. Toyota wants $450 (CDN) to install cruise control on the Yaris and an additional $23 for the sedan!

As far as I know if you want a CC ordered and installed in the LB by the dealer , it would be a Rostra
