Be nice if the video actually let you see the aftermath, rather than resetting .028 seconds after impact. You can't see the damage!

The site is running slow, 'cause I saw this on Digg. But the video is pretty long with lots of slo-mo goodness.

Yup, makes the lack of usable seatcovers seem like a very small inconvenience.

Well, no-one wants to pay for safety. I don't see why not. What good are those $2k chrome rims when you're DEAD?
If I get a Yaris in the next year or so, I'll definitely get the safety package.

A few Yaris-only driving rules:

1. Under no conditions do not proceed through a changed green light for at least 10 seconds.

2. At all 4-way stops yield to any and everyone no matter who was there first.

3. For highway driving never get between two vehicles in adjacent lanes at any time.

4. Watch the hell out at every moment!!!!!!!

The LB here in Europe comes with 9 airbags! STANDARD! And it got the top 5 stars rating and best in its class!

Very good thread, thank you. Check out the Chevrolet Aveo and the Hyundai Accent, both in the same class as the Yaris.
