Nice. I had a Curt class 1 installed. Serviced me well for 14 years until I went over a bump last year. Metal fatigue = dragging bikes on the road. Fortunately only destroyed one front wheel.

Hey Billiam, how do you like the drawtite hitch? I just got that model installed on my 2007 hatchback but my friend is kinda freaking me out saying I should have gotten the Curt model instead that installs between the towing brackets. He think the screws of the Draw-tite will just rip out of the locations it is attached to. I’m using hitch to carry a single 65lb e-bike (with battery removed) relatively lightweight bike rack. I’m using a 1-1/4” to 2” adapter with 4” rise. Also trimming the bike rack’s mounting tube so that bike sits closer to the car. What experiences have people had with the drawtite model 24819? Should I lose several hundred $ and get the CURT?

I have no complaints. It easily carries 2 bikes. I've even towed a small trailer with it. Zero issues.
