2010 Yaris Sedan Jack Points
Hi everyone, I have to do work on my car and would like to know the jack points besides the pinch welds. I already know about the pinch welds but i want to jack to car up from other points so i can put jack stands by the pinch welds.
I added images of below my car where I believe car jack points for the front and back of the car. Can anyone confirm if these are jack points for lifting the entire back and entire front of the car? Greatly appreciated. |

Yes, those are both jack points. Using those points, the car will lift on one side first before the other side starts to lift.

Thanks. Is there any supporting information or any reasoning you can give to support it because at the back it looks weak like it will break and I just want to do my due diligence before actually using it as a jack point. It isn't supported by the frame from what i can see. It is just mounted to a thin sheet metal that makes up the trunk cavity.

First of all, your 2010 car looks fantastic from the bottom. My 2007 is a total pile of rust. Gonna scrap it in a year or two.
I have the same rear jack point on my hatchback and I have been safely using it for ages. Probably not a relevant supporting information :) but I know I found it "somewhere" and it was trustworthy - so I moved away from lifting the pinch welds. |

The owners manual identifies those as front and rear lift points.
The rear lift point is affixed to a rather substantial cross member which spans the distance between the two transport tie downs. Those tie downs are great lift points as well if only wanting to raise one side. Also a most excellent place to position jack stands after lifting from the center.
