I had a '89 Chrysler LeBaron GTC turbo. Had been working on it for a couple of years. Added intercooler, T04 turbo to replace the wimpy mitsu one, 3" stainless steel exhaust with high-flow cat, had the engine rebuilt to handle the 30psi boost. FAST mofo, it ate anything against it alive. Had lots of fun pissing off corvette guys on the freeway and anything else. But on mother's day something was horribly wrong and it burnt up on the freeway. I did manage to salvage the engine (around 450+hp with the 30psi), turbo, transmission, some front end parts and the 3" exhaust and sold them.

This other car is my first car I got from my family at 15, a 1971 Ford Galaxie 500. The 351 Windsor engine crapped out after 214k, so it has been sitting for a few years. It now has a 351m/400 engine with 30k on it and its running again but now I have to start on the body work.

Nobody expected it, lol. My favorite times were the looks of "WTF?" on peoples faces when they thought they could overtake the car. Fun project it was. Now that engine in a dodge omni.... I could only imagine! I really wanted to take it to the 1/4 mile track. I estimate it was a 12 sec. car. I rode in a 500hp AWD Eagle talon and the lebaron pulled harder than it did. But after the fire I had 2nd thoughts about turboing my yaris.

Bought this in 98 to replace a leased 97 Jetta GT:

Sold it last year with 110,000 miles on it. Put about 60k miles on it, and two heads, and 4 clutches, and 1 rear end, and a built engine and head work, and a nice Street Mod suspension.

Bought a 84 RX-7 in ~01. Junked it soon after, rust was much worse than anticipated. Only Picture:

Bought an 81 280ZX right after junking the RX-7. Daily drove it for about 3 years.

Its sitting in my mom's barn in pieces waiting for rust repair 2500 miles away from me.

My family has owned this Lotus since about 75. My dad took it apart in 77. I was born in 78. My dad died in 03. I got the car. Its still in pieces, right next to the 280 :D

Theres been more projects, but I have even fewer pictures than the RX-7 :D

damn you guys got some pretty nice cars... My Yaris is the first car I've owned, so unless you consider some modded RC cars, I have nothing to add here
