Audio system only work in cold temperture - Toyota Yaris Forums

I have a 2013 LE with the stock audo/ CD system. Strangely, the system only works when the outside temperature is below 60F. I'm in Southern California and a temperature that low is rare at least in daytime. (It was 83F today).

Anybody have a clue as to what's going on here?

does your cigarette lighter also not work when the radio doesn't work? if yes, you likely have a partially blown ACC fuse.

Thanks but no. Cig lighter works fine all the time
