Need Advice

I have a black sand pearl 3-door liftback. Right now, I can either get aluminum wheels (I have stock steels), or tint the windows, but not both. Which should I choose and why?

Window tint, because it is one component to keeping the interior cooler, which means less a/c usage, which means fuel savings. It also offers you some privacy.

Lighter rims will reduce rolling/accelaration resistance and also theoretically increasing mpg... plus they look sharp. Good luck.

wheels, summer is about over and you will be able to get great deals on them right now.... also if you wait till the tinters slow time, fall/winter you will most likely get a better deal.... more bang for your buck

get the rims. the tinted windows would just make the car hotter inside.

Tint 1st
as yer gonna do it anyway & wheels later, WHY You Ask ??

as you can look over the wheels ya want all winter, while enjoyin' the tint that you gonna do anyway
but if you rush out and get the wheels now, You are sure to see another set that looks better as soon as you get the new set, then buyer remorse will set in & you'll go

" Damn I wish I'd waited !! "

Tint now !

wheels later!

You need time to pick out exactly which rims you really want & there's 100's to choose from .. choose in a hurry & bummed all winter
maybe someone will buy u a new set of rims for Xmas .. no one gives tint for Xmas

I agree tint first then you can save money for some rims since you'll need tires also so more money and then if you lowered it...

Just picked up my 2008 3 dr. in black sand pearl, its getting tinted next week and also lowered 2", picked up a VSD concept HUD, will install that this weekend, also ordered some light changes for inside and looking at HID's but not sure they will work properly.
Rims will come later.
