You have to connect the aftermarket management to the ECU with wires. Whether or not you make it yourself, you need a wiring "harness", and for those of us who don't have the skill to make one, it is still a "real mod".

My respect goes to people who can do this kind of work.

I'm sad about the lack of tolerance on here for each other's projects and the way each of us reaches our goal with the car.

We’d prefer to make a PNP harness for the AEM FIC harness for the Yaris. The cost would be $499 + shipping.

If you are dead set on the Ultimate, the cost would be around $550.

I talked to them on the phone they told me its just one wire off from the XB, the XB has two sensor grounds for the cam and crank, the yaris shares them.

If you get an order of five together, we can do any of the following harnesses for $399 each:

-Emanage Blue

-Emanage Ultimate

-AEM FIC

-Standard extension (main plug only)

The payment would have to come from one source and we would have to ship all the harnesses to the same address.

Perhaps.

We offer two types of extensions. The standard type only extends the main large ECU plug. The main ECU plug contains nearly all important pinouts that one would find the need to tap into.

The full extension includes both the main and secondary plugs. This kind of extension does not fit well in the car due to limited space in the engine bay.

When we build FIC harnesses for this plug type, we only use the main plug. It contains all necessary pinouts to wire the FIC except ignition switched power, which we draw from the fuse box instead.

What were you wanting to wire into the car? I can advise on which extension would be best.

thebarber: $399 is a great deal. Lets see how many people step up. My thoughts is that few will.
