I really see the need of keeping the speakers as far from each other to wide up the stage as much as possible mechanically before doing it digitally.

I'm not going to use the stock kick panel, this is going flat against the metal a-frame wall.

I don't blame you, Year and a half ago... I was in your shoes, just trying to upgrade my stock audio.

My original plan was to stick a small powered subwoofer and done, maybe upgrade stock speakers, and see where I'm now!

Don't be afraid, just ask we will try to help. That is what YarisWold is all about!

Again...we're coming around to the same ideas...

I just installed the L6SEs into the doors today. I had to open up the panels speaker grills. Man! It's a lot of energy coming from those speakers. I'll make a grill for them as soon as I'm finished with the mids and tweets.

Scott wants me to put his Imagine 10" up in the glove box...Gotta have that 18 Hz note happen though.

Yes, of course I have pics. Do I share them? Not yet. I'll puke them up when I'm done with the front stage.

What did you do to make them fit? did you made a 1/2" or 3/4" Baffle?
How much did you trim out from the plastic door panel? I assume that the magnet it's clear from the window.

Thanks

Remember that SE magnet is smaller than the regular L6. Neo magnets rock! I clear the window easily...especially given the 1/2" adapter/spacer I made.

The entire door is double roadkilled and overkilled. Now it's dampening the panel. I'm going to start with some spare memory foam I have to space around the speaker opening on the panel and the door itself. That should give enough positive pressureto dampen the panel without too much more doctoring.

Look closer... L6 are not as deep... it has a bigger diameter magnet though... no doubt the L6SE are better speakers all around and look much cooler.

I really would like to see that 1/2" adapter and how you cut the plastic door panel...

Actually this didn't work for me, as soon as I bump mid bass frequencies UP a little bit I start feeling the BASS come slightly from the right and not from the front.

BTW looks like my Lows Love my Sub, they just complement and blend each other so well.

For Low to Moderate volume the I6SW amazes me, as soon I bump the volume UP... reminds me that it's only a 6.5" woofer. Jeje it's ok with me I really don't listen to music that loud.

No, I'm putting that a side for a little, I need to build the subfloor that goes on top of the amps, I never take adults in the rear, but next weekend relatives come to visit and I have to pick them at JFK airport so I need some thing to protect my amps... jeje I'll take care that, just need some creativity.

3 days with out electricity!

Only updates I have: tuning and more tuning Pink Noise is great!

Got hit with the snow storm, no power, no heat, no water, no nothing...
a tree in our drive way and almost 14 inches of snow...
Grounded for now at my fathers place.

Take notice... Yaris in the Garage...
