For the D4D there is not an easy way to add cruise control since Toyota did not program it into the ECM.

I have read that people have had the AP800 installed on D4D Yaris. I read that it cost about $800 USD.

Click on the link in my last response. It is an aftermarket cruise control system.

If your car is a 2nd generation Yaris with the D4D then it would fall into:

Yaris All except 1.0 2005 > £421.00 £396.00 £411.00 £374.50 £135.00

I would contact that company or someone in Italy that does the installations to find out. I have not seen the directions for installation, so I am not sure if anything else is needed.

2009 Yaris 4Door. Just installed clutch switch last night and connected wiring that was already there; thank you Toyota! If it wasn't required to purchase the D3 connectors, then those wires (like the blue and brown D3 wires that have been pictured) should be there right?

2009 Sedans are a mixed bag. It seems that ones with the power package (locks and windows) have the D3 pins in place and ones without it do not.

Hmmm. That's weird. The DIY installation says they aren't required so hopefully I won't have to buy something else but we'll see I guess. I haven't been able to look at it just yet.

I actually wrote the DIY and since, in selling parts to many people, have learned about the 09 Sedans as being an exception to my rules.

Gotcha. Didn't realize that. Well, I'll check my D3 connector tomorrow and get holla back. Do you sell those pin connectors?

Alrighty. Gonna try this on my '09 hatchback with A/T. All parts ordered...

Just verifying: I don't need wiring from the ECM to the steering column, ECM connector pin, or D3 pins, right? (You'd mentioned the '09 sedans having exceptions; are there any known exceptions for the hatches?)

No. Thus far the 09+ LBs have all had the wiring, so just the stalk with harness and mounting screws (and the clutch switch if MT) is required.

Sweet. Many thanks, and when the parts get here (next week), I'll update on how it goes! (So very much hoping the airbag doesn't explode...)

Do I need to buy the screws that are linked with the cruise control stalk or can I find them at Lowe's? If at Lowe's, what size/type screws are they?
