Really, whatever works. Camping is not for me but I'd enjoy the bonfire for a while AND...whatever it takes to get more people there. That's all that matters!

Agreed. I am afraid I have gotten too old for that sleeping on the ground, but you young whipper snappers go right ahead.

And the more people the better. Should be a fun time.

I found a campground.
Its a KOA.
Its located in nashville, tn.
It would be a 35 min (more like 30 ;p ) to the meet from the site.
http://maps.google.com/maps?client=s...num=1&ct=image

they have tent sites....and cabins... they may or may not have AC! and a pool! :D
approxamately $60 a night.... for a cabin that sleeps 4.
orrrr a big kabin that sleep 6. $140
Rustic Kamping Lodges have a porch swing, full kitchen & bath, heat/ac, TV/VCR, outdoor grill, kitchen utensils. Bring your ownsleeping bag or linens. $100 refundable sec. dep. NO PETS.

these are usually very good, i stayed in a KOA campground at the beach, very nice.

Is the link you gave for the campground?

I don't think so. I live here in Nashville, and there is no campground downtown at 8th and broadway. That's smack dab in the middle of downtown. I know this area very well. The closest campground I think you're gonna find is out near the Opryland hotel. I think they've got something out there. You need to check out your KOA source. Let me know what you find.

Wow that sounds really attractive, actually. Even if it's not in the location it says, I'm sure there's a KOA somewhere around Nashville. Hmm...

Ooh, looks nice! And it looks like we can have a bunch of fun there when we're not at the speedway.
I've always wanted to stay at a KOA campground, but somehow I never got around to it...

Lol, that IS what camping is about! About the showers, if worst comes to worst, I would hope that one of our fellow Yaris owners that is staying at a hotel would be gracious enough to allow us to borrow their showers :P

That KOA is about 15 - 20 minutes from downtown. Lot's of tourons out there. It's next to the Opryland hotel which is real cool, but expensive. That area is not what Nashville is really about but if you are wanting to camp, that's the closest place you're gonna find unless you go out east of town heading towards Lebanon. I think there might be some campsites out near Percy Priest lake. It will be a little more private out there. More state park like. Not so many tourists in their motor homes out to see "The Opry" and to shop and Opry Mills.
