I am looking for a slight drop for a 2009 LB 3dr that maintains ride comfort and more importantly evens out the front and back end of the Yaris (so that the bottom of the car is parrallel with the ground instead of being at an angle from it)(think of what a stock yaris looks like if 2 adults are sitting in back.). I do not like the fact that the yaris looks like the back is higher than the front. most people tell me to get the tannabe nf210's, but I heard there was a set from tein that works even better for an even trim. What do you guys think?

Also, I want the tires to be a little bit farther out from the chassis, and I also saw these:

http://shop.microimageonline.com/pro...4&productId=60

H&R wheel spacers. I have absolutely no tuning experience, so I have no idea what these do. What do they do to the ride comfort? the handling? are they bad for the car in any way? Will there be too much rubbing with these AND lowering springs?

The spacers will only bring the back wheels out so they are flush with your fender.

I've been on DF210's ever since I bought the car; great ride, absolutely no rubbing (on 15" aftermarket wheels, can't remember the tire size off-hand, but they're wide.)

It snows a lot here in Ohio and I still highly recommend these springs.

I am on DF120's as well. I like the feel and look. There are times in downtown Houston where I wish they had stock springs back on. They have made me more aware of my driving and remember where the potholes and speed bumps are. Other than that, well worth the money.

Progress springs are pretty good, a little softer than Tanabe though.

They are also cheaper @ only $144.95 shipped.

I installed DF210s on my 2008 S Sedan two weeks ago and was extremely worried I would have some, or all, of the problems covered in the various forms. (I currently have the optional 15" Toyota alloy wheels and tires) To my relief I have not experienced any problems with rubbing, bottoming out, speed bumps, etc. My car looks awesome and I would have been disappointed if I had not gone as low as the DFs. I bought my DF's for $180.00 (including shipping) from California to Michigan. Micro Image appears to have an awsome price and good rep! (Wish now I would have ordered from them) The ride is barely noticeable firmer and feels great in the turns. Plan on posting pics once it stops snowing!!!

Hi

I have decided to get the Tanabe DF210īs, I can see the difference from stock and now. Are your wheels a lot wider than the stock 15"?

Regards Steven.

Anyone here have the progress springs or suggestions on them? I would like something between nf and df, but I'd appreciate reviews of them. I want a drop like the df, but i want comfort and no rubbing....?

You really won't rub on DF's unless you go with a rim/tire size not recommended in the guide. I rub a TINY bit if I turn my wheel all the way with DF210's on my new 17x7 +42 rims with 205/45/17 tires. When I had 15's on it, no rubbing at all.

I have no knowledge of wheels, tires, springs, etc. As in what to combine. Basically, I wanna get either 16's or 17's and lowering springs. Which one will hurt me the least? *Shocks/struts wearing down due to springs*?

I really don't either. I just know I've been running DF210's with stock struts for about a year (30,000 miles) and have had no issues at all.

I'll let the experts chime in a little better if they could.
