I know there was a thread about home brewers pre-hack

I recently started my first brew of Heffeweiß

I just wanted to start up a thread about home brews to see what other Yarisworlders have to say!

I have a batch of apfelwine in one of my 5 gal carboys, an imperial stout in my primary (will be racked into a secondary saturday) and I'll be brewing a pale ale this saturday after I get the stout out of my primary

everything thus far has been extract brewing only, but I plan on making the jump into all grain brewing after the holidays

my new years resolution will be to not buy any commercial brews for consumption at home

I am on Homebrewtalk.com and everyone on there loves the Apfelwein, so I think I am going to try that for my second batch of brew

My first batch of Heffeweiß only has a few more days in the carboy.... then to bottles with some priming sugar

phew, I just went to take a SG reading on my pale ale I pitched a vial of white labs yeast into 3 days ago (no signs of fermentation as of 10 hours ago), and thankfully I didn't have to take a reading, I took my blanket off the carboy and bam! there was an inch of healthy looking krausen minding its own business :)

just bottled 5 gallons of cider, 5 gallons of a pale ale and racked an oatmeal stout into a secondary... time for a homebrew
