IPod Classic vs IPod Touch vs PSP

Debating which one to buy. I was debating getting a head unit for my car, but ultimately I can get something a bit identical out of either of these as well as use them outside of the car/on the go......

Depends on a few things. How do you plan to use it? How much music do you have? How much do you want to spend?

Had to edit the title, cause I just thought PSP fits in there too. Well I don't need the 80gb, etc. I'm fine with anywhere from 8gb to 16gb. I would like to spend $300-less. I believe the ipod touch is the most expensive...16gb at $295. All in all, compared to getting a dvd/cd head unit for the car, these screen(s) aren't gonna be as big and the audio isn't gonna sound as crisp, but these are my three options.

ipod touch... it is amazing.. .if you cannot afford an iphone, get an ipod touch... the applications, the user interface... There are so many features. The only downside is the size.
I dont have more than 30 gigs of music... So I dont load that much on my ipod touch.. It works flawlessly with the aux input on the yaris...

Well, I have a headunit for my car with an ipod direct connection cable, and an ipod nano. Granted I pretty much only use the nano for listening to music while in the car, but its a nice item, 8 GB is more than enough.

Even so, the nano has a great deal more features. It has the option for video, has games, etc.

Basically, in my opinion, it breaks down like this:

Classic: If you don't need the 80 GB, you certainly won't need the 120 GB, which is the only form it comes in now.
Touch: If 8GB is enough space for you, at 229 its not a bad deal.
PSP: I own one of these, hardly ever play it anymore. Its a neat multipurpose entertainment platform, but feels to awkward to use on a regular basis. Trust me, you won't be walking around listening to music with this thing, its too large for such purposes. As for games, it does alright, not as good as the DS in many situations.

I'd honestly recommend a nano for you, good price and you seem not to want a lot of the features offered by the other items shown. But between what you've listed, I'd go with the touch.

Basically, one of the main things I'm looking for is video in the yaris. I guess one reason why I'm not buying a dvd hu. I figure I can get video through the psp or touch along with many other features for a cheaper price.

iPod Touch has wifi. The iPod touch that's coming this summer will be Bluetooth capable.

IMO, iTouch. Once you Jailbreak it, it'll become more versatile than the rest.

Tap Tap Revenge is dope too.

You have to look at the touch, and sometimes wake it, before you can touch the controls to do these things, which I find clumsy and distracting while driving...

Cheers
This is true.

If you decide on PSP let me know. I have both an original and a 'slim and light' piano black and I could part with one of them for a very reasonable price.

If you get a new headunit, it most likely to be able to control the ipod also.
