Toyota FR Hot Hatch (FT-86?)
So, i was at a bookstore in Japan today...saw a car magazine. Read through the description in "Best Car" 8-26 issue magazine...
Seems to me, that this car red car on the cover is going to be similar to the FT-86...are production car~ The car has a 1.5 L engine...105~109 PS (whatever that converts to horsepower) http://www.bestcar-bc.com/ |

I'm going to buy the magazine tomorrow morning...too tired to go back to the store from the crazy heat here....
It was either 1.5 L or 1.6...i too was shocked when i saw that.. it's like a supercharged Yaris... 6000 RPM... The rear end looks decent, not too crazy excited about it. At least, it looks near production level~ |

If Im translating right that website says it should have a 1.8~2.4L motor. Not a 1.6. That seems more reasonable.

sloth - it looks to be that way.
coheed - part 1 is talking about the FR car. Part 2 and 3, etc are different parts of the magazine. It was only one page on the car, with some info on the gazoo toyota aygo right above it.. i shall scan the magazine page for you guys after aug 17th... |

Was at Kinokuniya in Tennoji, Osaka, JP
Saw a magazine titled Best Car in katakana letters... And more theory on the FT-86 concept car... They want to do a 4-Door version and a 2-door version....
