im assuming it works when the car is off..and not if its on..dont know if you guys have drl in australia..but your ballast might not turn the hid on if you have drl.due to flicker..but i could be wrong..

Did you have a direct (+) to the battery and a separate (-) to the chassis?

HID won't work when Day time Running Lights (DRL)

Yes check the fuses for now.

When you drive during the day does your lights turn on by it self?

DRL turn your lights on automatically during day light at about 50%

in my case I don't have DRL and so forth to turn the lights on during the day I have to turn the switch for lights.

does it helps?

D.

thats the only pic i have right now to show you a little about conecctions, its pretty simple as you can see hahaah, you have a positive wire to the battery hopefully with a 30 amp fuse, a negative to the battery, and the H4 conector, the relay gives signal to the right side so you dont need to plug anything on the right side only the wires from the relay, also on the right side u have a negative (ground), thats pretty much all.

do you need a ground on the right relay? you can try to direct your ground from the right side to the + side of the battery, but im sure you will still have the flicker problem so get a grounding kit that has a circuit box if you're catching what i mean :D
