Who reads the Owner's Manual?

Well, I confess to spending a good portion of my first evening with my new Yaris reading the owner's manual. Who else in this forum actually reads the manual ASAP in order to learn more about his or her vehicle? Not a poll, but just asking.

I do simply because they tend to give you an enlightened feeling of what your car can do or does. granted I always double check it when i change out fluids and what not.

I've never read it through and through, too much to memorize, but I use it as a go to whenever I have a question. In fact its amazing how many questions on this forum are simply answered by the owner's manual. That being said, there are some mechanically minded people that probably know better, but for the average car enthusiast I'd say use that owner's manual and obey it to the letter.

I ordered a translated manual for my car. Better to take advice from the guys/gals who actually made the vehicle :) and of course CTScott :D

If I may ask, what exact maintanence info are you looking for in the manual?

The owners manual gives all specs on the car and the entire maintenance schedule plus directions on some of the easier DIY options.

My '07 manual for the most part referred me to the dealer. It told me even less info for after I hit 100k. Maybe the 3rd gen. has this angle covered? What do think?
