automatic shifter shaft
Is the shifter shaft(inside the car) part of the powertrain? As in power train warranty..... MY shifter button is loose and I want to know if its covered under warranty, assuming this is a new car.
Oh boy Im really sorry Im on the wrong forum!!!! Its my Cobalt with the loose shift button not my Yaris. Forget everything,sorry..... Last edited by peewee1; 04-23-2013 at 02:07 PM. Reason: wrong forum |

Are you talking about the shift knob or the shaft the knob is attached to that goes to the transmission. Power train is engine and transmission. mechanical wise.

if it is a "new" car, it should becovered under the 3 year/36,000 mile anything goes warranty. it covers squeaks, squeals, and paranoia.
if it is past that point, CTscott can probably tell you how to tighten it or something. |
