@du2efs
thanks for sharing bro...may kasama bang actuator para sa 4 na pinto?
as i see it, parang di pa kasama ang central lock (4 door lock/unlock). pang keyless entry lang ang kit, tama ba?

Please note that there are two types of Door Locking Kits available, viz. those for vehicles with rod type lock/unlock linkage (old style) and those for vehicles with cable type lock/unlock linkage (new style). Our YARIS is a cable type. But why go thru the hassles of buying a Keyless Entry Kit from the dealer and Door Locking Kit from another - I suggest that you will save a lot of headaches by buying the "Power Door Lock Kit with Keyless Entry" as a "Single Complete Kit", here you won't have wiring compatibility issues. But again, be sure to specify that the kit is for YARIS, ie. CABLE TYPE LOCK/UNLOCK LINKAGE KIT. Although the "old style rod type lock/unlock linkage door locking kit" will work with our YARIS, it involves drilling a correctly positioned hole to the opposite section where you push the YARIS'S manual lock/unlock plastic knob. This hole serves as a point where the rod linked to the actuator is secured... this is relatively easy provided you have a knack for DIY projects. I hope that helps. In ALJ, they have separate kit for your manual windows which include 4 actuators + keyless entry. The image posted was for Yaris with power package. In your case, the kit will be different. Cheers!! du2efs |
