Clutch bleed
Does anyone know the best Brake Fluid to use for a clutch bleed/refill?
My Yaris is 1L 2006 UK manual model. I've only ever bled cars where they have a separate clutch and brake fluid fill cap/system. In the Yaris it's the same system. Do I just proceed as normal and the brake system won't be affected by the clutch bleed? Or must I bleed the brakes at the same time as the clutch if we only have one fill cap? :/ |

Should be fine with standard brake fluid. The manual doesn't specify bleeding the brake system when replacing the clutch actuator cylinder nor does it specify bleeding the clutch when bleeding the brake system.
If it's never been flushed, probably a good idea to flush all the lines while you're at it. |

Cheers.
Does the order in which the four wheels have their brake fluid bled matter? Saw somewhere it had to be a specific order :/ |

Yes, start with the one farthest from the master cylinder, then work your way closer. The clutch is probably the shortest, or very close to the length of the driver's front wheel.

Bleeding the clutch will not affect the brakes. Use Dot Three or four fluid. Not.5

Great, cheers guys!
I'm just trying to locate the clutch bleed valve in the engine bay. Photo1 helps orient photo2: photo1, engine bay: https://ibb.co/stzpqZf photo2, clutch bleed nipple?: https://ibb.co/hDF0yvW Is the circled part in photo2 indeed the clutch bleed valve?
