12 years of DD service and counting
Still looks good after all these years, with lots of help and parts from the yarisworld members. In winter mode now waiting for the snow.

I'm constantly amazed at how well these cars hold up in our environment. Looking good as always. Is that still my bumper on there?

Thank for the comments. Well see how well they hold up in winter. Hopefully it won't make the car look too dirty when the snow starts to fall with the slush and road salt. I think the only reasons our cars have held up is due to rust proofing and TLC. I've seen newest cars that look like there on their last KM's to the scrap yard.
As for the bumper Wee, that one isn't yours, Had to replace the one i got from you due to a poorly installed center exhaust. On one of my 401 trip, something gave way and tip was touching the bumper and with a 6 hour drive the plastic was pretty damage. Even the reflective material on my plate is mostly gone also. That bumper I got from CT Scott, the stock muffler and tip from Enviri and the steelies from Jerkratt. But I got to repaint the hood again 4th time now and the roof. Lots of stone chips and are starting to rust. Repainted the front bumper over the spring. |

Great looking car! I really like the white wheels. I too am awaiting the snow, slush and road salt. Yesterday, in our shop, I gave my inner rocker panels, doglegs and wheelhouses a very liberal dose of ProForm oil rust proofing with our undercoating gun and the 360 tip extension tubing. I had done the drilling and plugging before and sprayed Rust Check and ATF in those areas. A few days ago, I did the entire underneath of the '08, subframe assemblies suspension components, brake tubing, steel wheels etc. The '06 was done before going into storage.
