Actually I have read the whole thread of Derick....I think you have come to the conclusion that is it better to place them at the front...
But I would like to get them in the trunk since we are almost always 2 in the car... Mid and tweet will go in A-Pillar Midbass will go in front door Bass would fo in trunk......what do you think ?

I think you are better of with the sub in the trunk, unless you want to go through all the process of building a complex enclosure that ends up with a funny shape. Even though the I6SW it's amazing after all the hard work. Also, T/A helps a lot blending and centering the image in the center of the car. For many weeks I could tell that the boom boom was coming slightly from the right and not the center, Time Alignment was a key factor to get it right in the center. I know this is an expensive hobby, but if you really want the beauty of the Music, you need to have" Active x-overs, Time Alignment, Digital EQ, at least. others can add their own opinions I'm not a pro, I did learn a lot from my trail and errors in my build, but if I had to do it again, it wouldn't be much different from now, than just more expensive amps, and maybe using all Hybrid-audio gear to be consistent. We are here to help. D.

I have a question for you...
I will probably go for passive system... So I will have this A mono amplifier for SUB A 2 channel for MID BASS A 2 channel for MID RANGE AND TWEETER......HERE IS MY QUESTION!! If the channel can drive 100W RMS and if I use passive xover..does it mean the tweeter will have 50W and the MID RANGE will have 50W too ?

Like I told you off-line we can trade/sell my a-pillars with the Mids in there, just plug your tweeter and you are all set, I know you don't want to spend that much money there either.
I may end up selling my 5 channel amp too. (just a heads up) Talking about designing a system, the difference in control by going active or passive is day and night, also other part of the equation in your design is thinking about a head unit or a component like a Bit one by audison that gives you Time Alignment, EQ and many other fancy stuff. I can swear by Time Alignment it's some thing that I just can't live without! Just my 2 cts. D.

Thank you very much Derick!
I think I will start with passive for the moment....and maybe I will switch to active when I get more money haha Could you make a sketch for me and correct me if I am wrong.. I will buy a HU with 3 or 4 output ? (I want my HU to go directly to AMP, no audiocontrol...) Does the tweeter and midrange goes on same channel with xover ? How much power you put into l1v2 ? sorry for all my naive question :S

Fair bit away from Quebec, but maybe some inspiration for you. http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi...AdIdZ365426433

FYI
I order a PowerBass ASA 1100.5x!!! Its the same then Derick uses... It got 5 channel SQCOMP and DERICK CAN YOU CORRECT ME.... Channel 1-2 goes to passive crossover and cross over goes to tweeter and midrange Channel 3-4 goes to midbass Channel 5 goes to sub is it corect ?? That would be for a passive setup... Later on I will change for active with a very nice HU like P99 but its not for now...

I am looking at these...MINIDSP
Its a member on DIYMA that suggested me to go for these...you set the filter with an app on the computer... It would be a nice passive setup...that I can change the filter if I want to... SQCOMP I am waiting the quote for the L3 and the HL-70...I am ready to buy :) When I get the L3 I plug the L1 and L3 on the Powerbass amp...Then I will look at the sub and pick up one...At that moment it will be a 2way + sub...will only be missing midbass and its amp!

The diagram looks good, I watched the video for the mini DSP and even I know what they are talking about looked so complicated, it had no audio?, then I downloaded the manual and the same, I maybe sleepy but it feels too much for me, but at the same time interesting. and at $125 bucks each! There is some thing about the P99 that makes all adjustments so easily and on demand, driving at any time. any way here are some samples of passive x-overs: D.

I may be buying one to see what I could do with it...it's not that expensive...
You made me realize that it is an active setup that I would build....well that will be better...where was I...its obvious that it is active How much is rated the P99 ? I have read a lot on it and I dream of having it in my car but I know it is out of my budget....It looks so easy to adjust all the settings...and as you says it..ON DEMAND WHat is the small model that you have been talking about ? ready for front stage ? Front stage is TWEETER, MIDRANGE, MID BASS ? ?
