First of all...lay off the all caps...please.
Not many if any folks are actually not throwing at least one code with a turbo setup while still using the stock ECU. Have heard of folks using an SC without codes. Which are you looking for info on?

Apologize about the caps. We use all caps at work...
I'm just interested to see what people are doing to get rid of the O2 code if they are catless. Especially folks that are turbo WITHOUT going standalone. Thanks, Andrew |

If your motor is tuned properly, you shouldn't have check engine lights or codes.
If you've deleted your cats, you won't pass a sniff test no matter what.

We don't have sniff tests in my county if the car is OBD2. Just plug into the computer.
No check engine light/codes, it will pass :) How is everyone not getting a CEL when turbo/straight pipe/catless on stock computer? |

I've got a Blitz, AFe intake, DC header, midpipe (cat delete), and HK axle back and I don't throw any codes. All that stuff is on a stock ECU. I'm sure it would fail emission testing but AL doesn't have any of that stuff anyway.

^^ If you have no codes and canada does not do sniff test on exhaust you will pass inspection without a cat installed. If they do sniff test you will fail if you have no cat.

If that's the case, I need to go get inspected. |

Oh and if you dont have a cat or something that looks like a cat in place you may have problems if they get the mirror out to look under the car. Take it to a private shop may be better as long as OBD is clear they might not mind as much if you have no cat.

If you know someone with an OBD scanner that tells you if your emmisions ready and your in the green you should have no issues.

I work at Toyota and have no problem getting the car inspected as far as visual goes, but i'm looking for an answer for the CEL question...
Who is running no cats on stock ECU without a CEL? Possibly using defoulers? Thanks, Andrew |

^^^ Yes you can run a o2 sensor extender/adapter to keep the cel off.

Is your turbo manifold ok compliant with AC lines? If so, I'll take one of those too! Thanks, Andrew |
