OFFICIAL 1/4 mile time thread *TIMESLIPS REQUIRED!!* - Toyota Yaris Forums

This was another one of those threads lost to the hack unfortunately. Anyway, here are the rules: Post your best times with pictures of your timeslips, along with what year and body style, and any modifications done to the car (parts added, parts removed.) ONLY times shown with timeslips will be considered!!!!

AUTOS:
User: Astroman
Yaris: 07 Liftback

Parts removed: Front and rear passenger seats, spare, jack & tools, floormats, aftermarket 17" wheels and tires, misc. easily removable interior items.

Parts added: NST lite pulley set, AEM intake w/foglight cover breather mod, DC Sports header, TRD Vitz V. S axleback, Sprint springs, stock 15" goodyear steelies up front, space saver spares rear.

Track & Date: Renegade Raceway, Yakima WA on June 26, 2008

330' : 7.185
1/8: 10.955
MPH: 65.83
1000: 14.212
1/4: 16.975
MPH: 81.44

i dont know where i put my time slips. and if im not mistaken the print on the slips had began to fade after only a few weeks

interesting.. i ran 16.2 with my stock 2002 corolla with an awful launch. i woulda figured a lightened yaris would be faster than that ?

you'll find most of the posted times on here are with NON SEASONED drivers and automatics....

it was my first time at the track..

I measure my 1/4 mile with Racechrono software and GPS.
does that count too?

That is up to the OP -- my answer would be no, it's not the same as racing on a standard track surface, with a burnout box, a drag tree starting light, etc.

Yeah, I think we're going for track times here. You shouldn't be doing quarter mile runs on the street anyway, mister.
