RATTLE?!?!? From where?
Ok so this problem just started to happen and it is baffling my brain.
Just when cruising along I can hear a rattle, sort of like there is a screw or rock inside of the exhaust just getting jostled around. It is coming from the right rear of the car and it is really driving me nuts. Or atleast sounds like the right rear of the car. Anyone have any ideas?!!? |

First check items in the cargo area, seat belts, center rear seat belt. This is often the case for me. My last rattle was a loose seat bolt, loose interior clips, cd covers, and a wire harness that vibrated.

the trick is to know if it is a metal, or plastic rattle. I had an issue with my rear brake light indicator, but it could be anything... so i'm not even going to try and guess. |

Check your spare tire area and the tool area on the right side of your spare tire to see if there is something there might hitting around while you are driving.

If it's the rear brake light assy, you can stuff a towel up against it through the covers in the rear, without removing any panels.

Thanks everyone I'll try to check some things out tomorrow
And I don't think I would mind a couple of rattles if I had a turbo/supercharger... |

I found that almost every interior clip in the dash was rattling, or at least loose enough to rattle when tapped. So put scotch tape inside every one of them, and silence the dash....

I managed to drop an allen key inside the rear bumper of my sedan while putting the wires into my amp. Wasn't able to find it :P
