'01 Miata Wheels
I tried my old Miata wheels out tonight. The tires are correct for a Miata (195/50's) but they sure look tiny on a Yaris.
I definitely need to drop it an inch or two and get some 205/55's. For tires, I'm leaning towards the Dunlop Direzza DZ101. 15X6, 40 offset, 13.1 pounds. (and yes, the rears are completely bald. That Miata sure was a fun car.) |

They look pretty sharp. TireRack has a deal going on with the dz101. I think it's $50 rebate with a purchase of 4.

With some new rubber, you'll be looking very good!

A 205/55 should look nice and meaty.
Are you going to try to do something about the centers? |

I'd like to replace/change the center caps but I dont have a clue where to look to get different ones or what I can do to the existing centers to remove the Mazda logo. They are plastic with the logo molded on the surface so popping the logo off is out.

Sorry I know this thread is old.
Just got these miata wheels and I'm trying to figure out if they're acorn/60 degrees style lug or mag seat/flat. The mounting surface looks fairly flat but everything I've search comes up as 60 degree/acorn style. Quote:
