Do you have rust here?
While cleaning my interior and sliding my seat up and down I've noticed there is rust on both the seat slider mechanism for the chair (only the bare metal part). The seat slides just fine though. You can have a look if you peak under it and behind the side flap.
Anyone have the same problem? Best just to have a look, if its rust free maybe put some petroleum jelly on it |

Yes. they must have figured that since it is inside of the car and covered that there was no reason to protect the metal in any way.
