Viper Alarm wiring help
Ok so I have the A1 MES power door locks, and it seems to only have two wires (one to lock and one to unlock)
I currently have a Clifford alarm wired. The main harness from the clifford is the same as the viper but the Clifford door lock has two wires but the Viper has 7. -Black/White: Dome light supervison input #87 -White/black: Lock #87a normally closed -Green/black: Lock #30 common (output) -Violet/black: lock #87 normally open (input) -brownblack- unlock #87a normally closed -Blue/Black: Unlock #30 common (output) -Violet: Unlock #87 normally open (input) How would I hook up the lock and unlock to my A1 MES power locks? Also it says on the A1 MES kit to make sure that the wires must have a negative lock and unlock output pluses. Positive pluses will damage it another question, I will only need the door lock harness and primay harness right? and of course the valet button, antenna, and LED. I wont be needing the Immobilizer, or auxiliary right? |

Check out this link for the Door Actuator wiring info:
http://www.commandoalarms.com/doorlockactuators.pdf You will only need the immobilizer output if your car has the engine immobilizer. My 09 does, but I believe it was part of the power package. You don't need the Auxiliary, unless you want to be able to trigger something extra, like the rear window defroster (not very useful in Hawaii). |

OK. I finally found some info on the Viper, which makes this more clear. The model that you bought has built in relays for the door locks, so you don't need external ones. Now, the question is how did (or did) you wire the A1 lock actuators. How the wires above get connected will depend on that. |
